Third Annual Festival of Trees Opening Gala and Winter Ball

Fast becoming a Thanksgiving Weekend tradition, the Festival of Trees Opening Gala and Winter Ball returns to the Coralville Marriott and Convention Center.  This year in the Coral Ballroom, the event will begin at 6:30 pm on Saturday, November 26, 2011.

Over 30 artistically designed trees and wreaths will be on display and for auction at the opening Gala.  Also, special “grab bags” featuring prizes from many local businesses will be offered with both adult and kid-friendly surprises.

New this year, we will be featuring Holiday Stocking designed by local businesses, many filled with special gifts!

Dance the night away with the Rod Pierson Big Band at our Winter Ball–an elegant event for dance-enthusiasts of any skill level!

Enjoy a special selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Convention Center!

Just opened in September 2011, the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts is the new home of City Circle Acting Company of Coralville.  This 480-seat concert and theatrical venue will also feature performances, concerts, lectures and events by local artists and organizations.

City Circle Acting Company of Coralville have been the official Community Theatre of the City of Coralville since 1998.  Having produced over 80 plays and musicals, including this fall’s sold out smash hit “Hairspray”, City Circle is thrilled to produce all of their season plays and musicals at their new home at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.
