Keep Donating to Spotlight on Hunger Campaign

City Circle is dedicating its twentieth season to collecting donations and raising funds for the Coralville Food Pantry. We hope our Spotlight on Hunger initiative will draw community awareness to the fact that hunger is a pressing issue in the Coralville, and everyone has the opportunity to give something to help. The Coralville food pantry had over 8,500 visits in 2016 and was able to distribute 250,000 pounds of food to those in need. City Circle’s initial goal for our 20th season was to donate 3,000 pounds of food. We passed that goal after the holiday show so now we are building of that success and trying to donate as much as possible by the end of the season (end of June). Be sure to bring a donation when you attend Little Women or Forbidden Planet or make a monetary donation while you are there.

That’s where you come in!

Starting in December with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, we will be collecting at each one of City Circle’s performances. Every item counts as one pound, and each dollar counts as five pounds. Everyone who donates will be entered to win a two free tickets to any City Circle show during the current or upcoming season.

Help us focus the spotlight on hunger!
