Announcing Auditions for Love, Loss, and What I Wore

City Circle Acting Company of Coralville will hold auditions for its production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore on Saturday, November 17 from 1pm -7pm at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts The show is directed by Meg Dobbs. Love, Loss, and What I Wore is based on the best seller by Ilene Beckerman and written by Nora and Delia Ephron. With its compulsively entertaining subject matter, the show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to–mother, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses, and why we only wear black.

This is an all-woman cast with an age range of early twenties to seventy. The director suggests reading something from script for auditions. Sides are suggested on our website. Scripts are available for reading at the Iowa City Public Library and Coralville Public Library.

To schedule an audition, complete and submit the audition form at Walk ins are always welcome.

Love, Loss, and What I Wore will be performed February 14-16 at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.

We are cleaning and organizing our shops, located off 1st Ave and 7th Street in Coralville. All are welcome and encouraged to help, starting at 9:00 AM, NOVEMBER 16. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people or reconnect with fellow artists while contributing to a worthy cause!
